Job Description:

LOCATION: New York, NY


DESCRIPTION:

The MIRC Technology Analyst provides a critical service to Marketing, Investor Relations, Communications, and the companies Financial in developing and supporting technical solutions, including CRM software, expense compliance software, and the corporate website.  He/she must have an ability to communicate with both non-technical internal personnel and technical development resources, translating business and process requirements into solution definitions.  The analyst will be called upon to enhance and support current technical solutions as well as engage and manage external development resources as needed.  The analyst will support local and remote users and is also responsible for developing and supporting end-user strategies in conjunction with others in the department.  The analyst will be expected to gain a clear understanding of clients’ complex business processes, sales cycles and compliance needs.  In order to succeed in this position, the candidate should have previous experience with software development, data management, website administration as well as a strong desire to engage clients and manage projects.


REPORTING STRUCTURE:

This role reports to both the Investor Relations Manager and the Director of Applications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Maintain and enhance CRM, expense compliance, and content management applications; support integrations with enterprise applications.
·         Create, modify, and execute SQL queries to facilitate information flow to management and sales team
·         Manage and monitor critical databases, implementing modifications and upgrades as necessary
·         Collaborate with Compliance team to stay informed of changing regulatory requirements and ensure systems provide necessary functionality to meet audit expectations
·         Develop/maintain custom reports in Crystal Reports or other applicable reporting tools.
·         Develop custom software solutions in collaboration with Applications team.
·         Maintain the integration of data sources to the corporate website
·         Implement enhancements to the corporate website, including UI design and system architecture
·         Manage, prioritize, and implement enhancement requests as required
·         Liaise with consultants and internal resources to support department applications
·         Provide technical thought leadership to the department, identifying and developing creative solutions
·         Ensure data integrity and conduct audit reporting to monitor system effectiveness
·         Create and disseminate blast HTML e-mails as required
·         Provide training and ongoing support to end users


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Strong communications skills
·         Experience in software development using object-oriented programming language(s)
·         Experience in data management including SQL query development and report writing
·         Proficiency in HTML web design and familiarity with content management systems
Track record of effectively and efficiently managing many independent or related tasks simultaneously, with urgency to achieve on-time, within-budget project completion
Demonstrated history of resourcefulness and detail orientation in approaching tasks
Ability to manage end-user expectations of delivery and functionality
Excellent time management skills
Strong team player with service-oriented attitude
Desire to understand non-technical aspects of the business

SALARY RANGE:

Commensurate with experience.

TRAVEL:
