SUMMARY

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates the SAP R/3 system to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify ABAP programs. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5-6 years of experience specializing in MM and PP modules within the SAP R/3 system. Sales and Distribution knowledge is a major plus. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the Corporate Information Technology Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates with the End User Community to determine present and future business and system requirements and prepares relevant schedules, plans and reports.
• Analyze and document business flow information to ensure system functionality meets the Business Unit requirements
• Analyze and document End User requirements for value to the B.U.
• Modifies SAP R/3 system configurations
• Creates data extracts from the SAP R/3 system by creating ABAP programs or data base queues
• Completed Information Technology Service Request in support of the End Users requirements
• Analyses business processes to ensure their effectiveness, configures the SAP R/3 system to meet these business proces ses.
• Planning and processing of user trainings
• Preparation of user and process handbooks
• Help support the End Users via the SAP Help Desk
• Manages special projects to support business initiatives.
• Observes all safety rules and regulations and performs job in a safe manner.
